In 2014, Municipal Council committed itself to updating its Strategic Plan. A consultation process was initiated in which Municipal Council members, staff and the public were asked to identify their wants and needs. These would then be used to establish guidelines for a community-based plan for the municipality for future years. This Strategic Plan will identify the objectives and actions Municipal Council must focus on to further the municipality’s development over the next five years. For more information, see our 2015-2020 Strategic Plan.
The Memramcook Green Plan is a strategic document that is both detailed and practical. It is a component part of the vision for a sustainable environmentally friendly future and establishes ecological principles and criteria that will help guide decision-making for all municipal activities. Memramcook’s Green Plan will:

1) reduce the municipality’s environmental footprint;
2) help protect the area’s environmental assets; and
3) allow the municipality to save money by reducing energy consumption and lowering impacts on municipal infrastructures.

Acadian “tie dye” Creations
The community is also invited to come and make Acadian “tie dye” creations.

Here's what you'll need to bring with you:

1) A white cotton T-shirt - or any other white item (example: pillowcase, pair of socks, etc.). Please make sure the item has never been worn or used.
2) Plastic bag (to take your creation home).

We will have 5 stations in place and only one family bubble per station. We ask participants to be patient, respect social distancing, sanitize their hands at each station and wait in line if needed. We also recommend not to wear clothes that you wouldn't to get dirty.

The activity is free but registration is required. To register: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by phone at 758-4078.
