The Beaubassin Planning Commission (BPC) is the regional organization created in June 1981 under the New Brunswick Community Planning Act to provide services to the municipalities of Cap-Pelé, Shediac and neighboring areas. In 1995, the non-integrated eastern area became the first rural community in New Brunswick to be incorporated as Beaubassin-East. In 1997, the Village de Memramcook and other local service district portions (currently part of Beaubassin-West) joined the BPC. The Commission is made up of ten volunteer members nominated by each of the five partners.
A BPC approved development/construction inspector is available for consultation at the Memramcook municipal building located at 540 Centrale Street. For faster service, it is preferable to schedule an appointment by calling (506) 758-4078.
