Who are we?

P.R.O. Kids is a community program that helps Memramcook and Dieppe children and youth aged 2-18 years from families experiencing financial difficulties to participate in community, cultural and sport activities.

The program provides them with the opportunity to register for activities that otherwise would not be accessible due to a lack of financial resources or a specific family situation.

Eligibility criteria

  • experiencing financial difficulties
  • be a resident of Memramcook or Dieppe
  • only one activity per season
  • must not already be registered in a paid activity

Families often find themselves in the following situations:

  • death of one or both parents
  • loss of employment by one or both parents
  • serious illness of one or both parents
  • serious illness of a member of the immediate family
  • separation or divorce
  • low-income family
  • family with a special-needs child
  • single-parent family
